Minimal / Conceptual: Dorothee and Konrad Fischer and the Art Scenes of the 1960s and 1970s

The Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art presents the exhibition "Minimal / Conceptual: Dorothee and Konrad Fischer and the Art Scenes in the 1960s and 1970s." Konrad Fischer, who opened his gallery in Duesseldorf in 1967, was one of the first to introduce new artistic trends and played an essential role in the international spread of minimal and conceptual art. This exhibition is shown for the first time in Japan and focuses on Minimal Art and Conceptual Art in the United States and Europe from the 1960s to the 1970s. The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Landesmuseum Nordrhein-Westfalen, which owns the collections of Mr. and Mrs. Fisher. Approximately 100 works and materials, including works, will be on display.

Autumn of Art "ANONYMAT 2021 Nara vol.1 ・ vol.2" Nara Tsutaya Bookstore


Nara Tsutaya Bookstore is hosting "ANONYMAT Nara vol.1 and vol.2" to showcase the works of four talented artists who are based and continue to produce in Nara. As a joint project between Gallery OUT of PLACE and Nara Tsutaya Bookstore, we will discover and nurture people and events living in Yamato Basin and the Kii Peninsula and take up the culture and art rooted in this land. It introduces Tomio Seki (apartment painting) and Masato Akai (wood carving / three-dimensional) under the title "Red Black" as vol. 1. After that, in vol. 2, it holds a two-person exhibition, "Tower and Pot" by Shigeru Nishikawa (oil painting) and Yui Tsujimura (pottery).

Go Watanabe "Journey Over " Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Contemporary Art "KAMU kanazawa"

The fifth room, "KAMU tatami", opens on October 12, 2021 (Tuesday), at the private museum of contemporary art "KAMU kanazawa" operated by setchu Co, Ltd. The first project of "tatami", set up as a special exhibition space focusing on video works, features Go Watanabe's "Journey Over ".

"ANDY WARHOL KYOTO" Kyoto Prefecture Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art

ANDY WARHOL KYOTO - the first major Andy Warhol exhibition in Kyoto, Japan, held at the KYOCERA Museum of Art in Kyoto. Special Exhibition "100 Selections of Donated Masterpieces - from Hizen to Asian ceramics -" Saga Prefecture Kyushu Ceramics Museum

The Kyushu Ceramic Museum celebrated its 40th-anniversary last year. From October 8 (Friday) to December 12 (Sunday) 2021, The Kyushu Ceramic Museum holds an exhibition showcasing 100 carefully selected ceramic materials donated over the 40 years. To do. Since its opening in 1980, the Saga Prefectural Kyushu Ceramic Museum has collected, preserved, displayed, and researched ceramics and ceramic-related materials, promoting their education and culture in the Kyushu region. Over 40 years, about 30,000 materials have been collected, more than 90% of which have been donated by ceramic collectors, ceramic enthusiasts, and potters.
