"Sado Island Galaxy Art Festival Project 2022" is held from August 7 (Sun) to October 9 (Sun) 2022 at Ryotsu Harbour, the gateway to Sado Island. The event, organised by the Executive Committee of the Sadoshima Galaxy Art Festival and the Sado International Arts Organisation, provides opportunities for new discoveries and exchanges. It also aims to introduce many people to the region and Sado. In addition to exhibitions by artists, there are also accompanying events where people can experience art.

"Asama International Photo Festival 2022 PHOTO MIYOTA"
Asama International Photo Festival 2022 PHOTO MIYOTA will be held from July 16 to September 4, 2022. This event is an art photography festival where you can experience diverse photography with all five senses in the beautiful nature of Mount Asama. This year it is themed "Mirrors & Windows" and will be held in two areas: real and virtual.

"Finn Juhl and the Danish Chair" Exhibition
The exhibition "Finn Juhl and the Danish Chair" will be on display at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from Saturday, July 23, 2022, to Sunday, October 9, 2022. The exhibition traces the history and transformation of Danish furniture design, explores the background behind the creation of such rich examples, and examines the appeal of Finn Juhl's designs, which are modern yet comfortable. There is also an exhibition of the world-famous "Oda Collection" owned by Higashikawa-cho, Hokkaido, and a corner where you can sit on various Danish chairs.

"Marunouchi Street Park 2022 Summer"
The Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho District Urban Development Groups, Daimaru Yu Area Management Association, Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho District Urban Development Council and Mitsubishi Estate are holding a social experiment "Marunouchi Street Park 2022 Summer" on August 2, 2022 (It will be held from Tuesday, September 11 to Sunday, September 11 on Marunouchi Naka-dori. "Lecture by architect Hiroshi Naito" and "Public hearing on design competition"
Hiroshi Naito, an architect who has worked on many public buildings and cultural institutions, will give a lecture on "Architecture and Urban Development" on Monday, August 22, 2022. The lecture will be held as part of the Yokohama City Public Building 100th Anniversary Project, and the lecture will be followed by a public hearing on the Negishi Forest Park restroom design competition. At the public hearing, the applicants who passed the initial evaluation (about 5 applicants) will present their designs and answer questions from the evaluation committee.

The Aichi Prefectural Ceramics Museum hosts the special exhibition "Fragment of Homo Faber -Future of people and manufacturing-" from Saturday, July 16, 2022, to Sunday, October 2, 2022, as a joint project of the "Aichi 2022" International Art Festival. With the theme of human creativity, we introduce contemporary ceramics in the Tokai region, focusing on the premise of creation, the "skills" that have been cultivated and the "place" that has been formed, as well as the relationship between people and craft. rethink gender.

"Stars and Sea Art Festival"
Omika Art Project holds the "Star and Sea Art Festival" from August 11 (Thursday/holiday) to August 28, 2022 in Omika-cho, Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Under the theme of "Creating with the City, Creating with the City," large-scale artworks is displayed in the city to create landscapes with art, and collaboration with the local community is the biggest theme. All the works are created through the interaction between artists and factories in Omika-cho and local people, and you can experience the stars (history) and the sea (nature) of Omika-cho as well as the craftsmanship through the art created together with the local community.
