The Architizer A+Awards is the world's largest and most democratic architecture awards program, recognizing the exceptional work of designers in more than 82 countries worldwide. Now in its 11th season, the program is doubling down on its original mission - to democratize great design, highlight the transformative power of architecture, and recognize the work of pioneering firms striving to improve the built environment for future generations.

"We want to create a dialogue about where architecture is heading. We constantly ask ourselves ‘Is what we're doing in this lifetime part of the solution or part of the problem?’"
-Michel Rojkind, Founder, Rojkind Arquitectos
The design and construction industry is responsible for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions, and the 11th A+Awards underscore the program's renewed commitment to sustainable design. Architects play a central role in building a more resilient world. That's why Architizer has collaborated with leading sustainability experts to recognize the diverse efforts of professionals working at the forefront of green design. The new awards highlight projects that serve as a positive precedent for green building practices in specific regions and around the world.

Staying true to the democratic judging process, the 11th A+Awards highlight the impact of design on people's daily lives through online voting by the public in each category. In collaboration with official partners v2com newswire, AIA New York, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and Aesthetica, the 10th annual A+Awards saw more than 400,000 public votes cast for more than 5,000 entries from more than 100 countries worldwide.
Firm Awards are back again this year, recognizing the overall work of studios of varying sizes and specializations, including awards for emerging architects and interior design studios. This season also features new categories that recognize forward-thinking and emerging design projects, including those that incorporate new materials and experimental technologies, as well as spaces in the Metaverse.
