This bare minimalistic design style has often been referred to as timeless, comprehending to its history and fluctuating trends. However, the new wave brutalism imbibed here, quite opposite to its name, is in fact a lot more open ended, and is considered fairly versatile in terms of adhering to styling and personalities. This potential has been efficiently tapped in this, 2500 sqft apartment in Delhi, defined by a restrained palette of brass, exposed concrete, stone, and glass, reinforcing the exceptionally restrained yet luxurious nature of the build.
The Dark monochrome tones with a flow of texture and large fenestrations impart a humbling satisfaction as one enters the residence. It boasts its elite brass kissed furniture and interior beautifully complementing the raw materials. The Exposed concrete wall panel, outlined with brass strips and garnished with subtle artwork, makes it a perfect exquisite backdrop for the family space as well as robust and sophisticated for the drawing space.
Moving into more personal spaces; the master bedroom is dressed with a monochrome visual harmony, garnished with straight lines and interesting patterns along with the subtle play of textures. The neutral tone of the upholstery keeps the elements tied in with each other and fulfills all the function of comfort living, also imparting a visual satisfaction and comfort.
The children rooms on the other hand are like their separate enclaves, within the enclave. They
perfectly maintain the subtle language along with a judicious pop of color. The Daughter’s and son’s bedrooms are simply a spill of their personalities, maintaining the minimalistic monochromatic color palette. The Daughter’s room elegant, feminine and classy, and the son’s room, a statement of his style, age and personality.
The robust and subtle brutalist aesthetic, paired with sensitive tweaking in the children’s room, is a proof of our expertise to achieve what is best for the space, client and the design!
