DEAwards is in search of imaginative, groundbreaking projects (whether completed or conceptualized within the last 5 years) of any magnitude that, alongside outstanding aesthetics, integrate additional value—such as educational merit, narrative elements, the provocation of critical thinking, the capacity to influence users’ emotions or behavior, and an effect on perception or encompassing other analogous values.

Our respected panel of judges comprises globally acclaimed architects, designers, innovators, and educators who have achieved success in pushing the limits of what is achievable in their respective fields. For this year, our esteemed jury includes Prof. Toyo Ito, Prof. Masayo Ave, Prof. Rainer Mahlamäki, David Basulto, and other outstanding architects and designers.

The awards ceremony will take place during the Architecture in Foyer 2024 conference at the Solarlux Campus in Germany (Melle, Lower Saxony, Germany) from September 19 & 20, 2024.

Jury deliberation: May 2024
Announcement of winners: June 2024
