Cities Of Love Awards (COLA), established in August 2010, has launched the fourth edition of the award. To improve the quality of life and provide innovative solutions by individuals and companies that have contributed to the community, the award is now accepting submissions from all over the world. Aoyama Design Forum is proud to announce the partnership with COLA and will provide full support to the award.
The deadline for submission is June 30, 2021. |

Collaboration Project with MIID: Call for Contributions to MIID E-Newsletter |
NPO ADF (Aoyama Design Forum) has launched a new project with the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID). As part of the agreement, ADF will regularly post some articles on MIID E-Newsletter for its members. ADF is looking for articles and reports for the newsletters to share innovative and unique ideas and thoughts.
Guidelines for Applicants
Genre: Furniture, Materials, Colors, Design Spaces, Designers, Ideas and Products, Design Technology, Travel and Life, or Award-Winning Projects.
Document File Formats: Microsoft Word
Image Size: 2000 x 2000 pixels or more

【ADF Web Magazine】CLOU Architects designed commercial building “UNIFUN” with a multi-media facade system |
UNIFUN Tianfu Chengdu is an online and offline architecture with a multi-media facade system and a large area of outdoor social space. The CLOU architects designed the building with an aim to integrate the architectural form and the digital promotion into a coherent whole. They also expect to achieve different visual effects for UNIFUN with the graphics changes of the façade system. In addition to the concept of “cube”, the façade was also inspired by animated game culture in the age of social media. |

In March 2021, a pavilion was erected in Tha Tum District, Thailand. It was inaugurated on Thailand's National Elephant Day. Rooted in the simple but ingenious architecture of Tha Tum, the pavilion is the house of the local people and the house of elephants integrated into one structure. The Thai Pavilion explores how architecture may embrace the other through the case between elephants and the Kuy people, an ethnic group in Thailand's Tha Tum District. |
