ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.27 “Entangled Emotions: Exploring Material Echoes through Expression” Exhibition

ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) is pleased to present "Entangled Emotions: Exploring Material Echoes through Expression" by Zakir Salam, a Bangladeshi artist, as the 27th edition of the "ADF Art Gallery Project". This exhibition will be held from May 21 (Tuesday) to 31 (Friday), 2024. The exhibition will explore the deep bond between man and horse, with works that symbolize and embody the strength and speed of the horse. Admission is free, so please stop by if you are in the area.

Zakir's artworks transcend practical needs and explores emotional connections, drawing on metaphors of the complex desires of men and women. He emphasizes balance and respect between humans and animals and warns us not to exceed the natural order of things. His art series "Entanglement" uses various materials, including gelatin glue, synthetic plaster, liquid colors, acrylic colors, gold, silver, tin, and aluminum. Each material creates its unique texture, atmosphere, and luster, creating a narrative journey through the artworks.

Zakir's work focuses on eternal love and the flow of energy that unites us all. The sacred relationships depicted in his work reflect the strength found in the hidden signs and movements of the human spirit.

Zakir believes that art can be a means of expressing human resistance amid contemporary spiritual suffering. He believes in the possibility of smiles and peace through art, even in the face of great human suffering. Zakir's art emerges from this contemplative process, and he believes that humans have the power to effect positive change.

Through a sustained exploration of ideas, Zakir has recognized that art is a unique means of expressing the spiritual beauty within the heart. Zakir believes that art is a powerful medium to convey the message of peace, resistance, and goodness within the individual
