Evaluation Criteria
Design novelty, originality and creativity are the main criteria. With the aim of bridging the gap between theory and practice, explanations and discussions of the submitted projects are also an important part of the award.
The Review Process of "10 + 5 + X"
First, a jury consisting of members of WAC and former award winners will select 10 works from the applicants. Once the jury's work is completed, members of the World Architecture Community will select the 5 highest scoring projects. Finally, the "X" will be those projects that did not make the final selection of 10 or 5 but had "something special" that made them worthy of selection and recognition as an "X" by the WA jury.
Winners
Winners of WA Awards 10+5+X are announced approximately 10 days after the final deadline for submission. They will receive a special WA Award Winner Poster and a WA Award Certificate that will be made available to the participants a few weeks after the announcement of the winners. Winners will also be announced in an article on WAC. In addition, the results will be published on our Media Partners and in other global publications.
