The GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards celebrate and reward the work of designers and architects who improve our quality of life and the built environment, and the private and public clients who entrust them with their design aspirations. For the 15th edition of the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards, it is pleased to open the call for applications for the second time to participants from around the world.

The competition is open to professionals and students, as well as real estate developers, contractors, manufacturers and clients who have entrusted these professionals to design their projects and products, in a variety of disciplines and categories.

A multidisciplinary panel of elite judges
Leading professionals, prominent academics and influential members of the press from around the world will carefully apply their know-how, experience and expertise to evaluate the excellence of the projects and products presented.

The Jury will evaluate each project or product using a point system (1-100). Depending on the score, candidates can receive a gold, silver or bronze award. The title of Gold, Silver or Bronze Award Winner will be given to projects and products that, in the eyes of the jury, have met or exceeded the evaluation criteria for effective design.

Calendar：OPENING OF THE REGISTRATION PERIOD
Discounted rate：September 1st until October 31, 2021
Regular rate：November 1st, 2021 until January31, 2022
Final rate：February 1st until April 1st, 2022

※A project can enter a Special Awards category only if it is already entered in a standard category. Once registered in a category, your project or product is eligible for Special Awards. Special Awards are offered at a lower cost and are intended to reward specific features of a project or product.

ABOUT GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN
The GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards were launched in 2007 in Montreal, UNESCO, the city of design, and organized by the PID agency. They recognize the work of designers who improve the quality of our lives and the built environment, as well as the public and private clients who have entrusted them with their needs.

The competition promotes the idea of appreciating and promoting quality design and guarantees its participants professional recognition and international visibility.

After 13 editions reserved for professionals based in Québec, the competition will open up to the whole world starting in 2020, adding new disciplines that complement design, architecture and landscape. All categories are now open to candidates from Québec, Canada and around the world.
