Dezeen has announced the interiors shortlist for this year's Dezeen Awards, which includes interiors by Kengo Kuma, Barber Osgerby and Snøhetta. The NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) is again supporting the Dezeen Awards 2022 this year as a media partner.
The 55 shortlisted projects, which are in the running for awards in 11 different categories, come from studios in 18 different countries, including Norway, Australia, Spain, Mexico, Ghana and Latvia.
The top three countries represented are the United Kingdom with 12 shortlisted projects, followed by the Netherlands with eight and the United States with six. Five projects are shortlisted in each design category, including a clock made of recycled plastic and a suspended sculpture made of mesh. Also on the shortlist are a bright red wooden "sinking house" in Bath's Pulteney Weir and a textile series that includes climate change data. Other shortlisted projects include rugs made of woven wood and wool, a collection of curved, low, kiln-dried oak furniture, and an exhibition that evokes physical sensations in the viewer.

The shortlists were scored by our design jury, which includes Italian industrial designer Alberto Alessi, V&A Museum contemporary programmes curator Meneesha Kellay, Salone del Mobile president Maria Porro, and Pentagram director Paula Scher.
