Dezeen Awards Update: New Judges Announced

Dezeen Awards 2024 announced the additional industry professionals who will be judging the entries this year. Architects Francine Houben and Sumaya Dabbagh, designers Alfredo Häberli and Bethan Laura Wood and fashion designer Karen Millen have been announced to join to the panels. The Dezeen Awards is open for submissions through June 6, with discounted entry fees in effect through March 27. The NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) proudly supports the awards again this year as a media partner.

ADF Design Award 2024 Exhibition Report

From April 16th to 21st, 2024, amid the vibrant ambiance of the "Milan Design Week 2024," The masterpieces of recipients of the "ADF Design Award 2024," generously sponsored by the NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), were showcased in alignment with the renowned "Milano Salone," the world's premier furniture and interior trade fair. These exceptional works took center stage at the reception party, captivating attendees with their innovation and ingenuity.

ADF × Milan Architects Association × GARDE Joint exhibition during “Milan Design Week 2024”

The works of the winners of the ADF Design Award 2024, an international design award for architects from around the world organized by the NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), will be exhibited in the showroom of GARDE ITALY S.R.L. from Tuesday, April 16 to Sunday, April 21, 2024, during the Milano Salone, the largest furniture and interior design trade show in the world.

“ADF Design Award 2024” winners and award-winning works

NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), a non-profit organization, announced the results of the judging for the "ADF Design Award 2024", an award for architects from around the world, and has decided on the Grand Prize-winning work and the Category Excellence Award. The Grand Prize went to Angel Borrego Cubero (Office for Strategic Spaces). The Excellence Award went to Takashige Yamashita + YoungAh Kang (Takashige Yamashita Architects), Hiroshi Hamura and Yuki Hamura (NOA Environmental Design). Congratulations to all the winners.

This award is a significant design competition with a total prize of US,000 and a jury of five world-renowned figures in the architecture and design industry. The winners will have the opportunity to attend the award ceremony in Milan during the Milano Salone starting April 16, 2024, and to exhibit their works in collaboration with the Graduation Award of the Polytechnic University of Milan. We would like to thank all those who entered the competition and all those who supported the organization of the competition.

NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) is pleased to announce the 14th edition of the ADF Design Award 2024, an international design award organised by ADF. Award applications will be accepted from Monday 14 August to Friday 22 December 2023, must be received by 22 December 2023 (Japan time). This year, as in previous years, the award theme is 'Architectural Design'. The prize money will be USD 30,000 for the Grand Prize and USD 5,000 for the Award of Excellence in each category, with a total prize fund of approximately USD 50,000.

World Architecture Community Awards 45th Cycle Announces its Winners

World Architecture Community has announced the winners of WA Awards 10+5+X 45th Cycle in Architecture and Interior Design sections. WA Awards presents 38 different winning projects from 16 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types ranging from South Korea to Poland, from Serbia to Costa Rica. “MIID REKA Awards 2023” Call For Entries!

NPO ADF proudly supports "MIID REKA Awards", which was established by The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) to celebrate outstanding interior design ideas. MIID is the national institute representing the interior design profession in Malaysia. The MIID REKA Awards 2023 for Design Excellence shall be conferred to Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) and Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) registered members practicing interior design for works completed between the years 2020 and July 31, 2023 that best exemplify the pursuit of excellence in interior design.
