Architectural Design Award “World Architecture Community Awards” Announces its 40th Cycle Winners 22 05 09 UP The World Architecture Community has announced the winners of the WA Awards 10+5+X 40th Cycle in the Architecture and Interior Design sections. WA The Awards showcase 43 different winning projects from 17 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types ranging from China to Italy, Turkey to the United Arab Emirates. The winning countries are Vietnam, China, India, Sri Lanka, Italy, the United States, Kazakhstan, Iran, Mexico, Turkey, Moldova, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, France, Germany and Japan. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) has continuously supported the award as one of the media partners.

【Final Call!】DFA Design for Asia Awards 2022 Call For Entry 22 04 11 UP The most prestigious design award in Asia, the "DFA Design for Asia Awards 2022," celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is accepting submissions. The deadline for entries has been extended to July 15, 2022. This year, "Digital & Motion Design" and "Service & Experience Design" have been added as new categories, and we are accepting projects from a wider range of fields. Call For Entries ASA EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN COMPETITION 2022 22 04 11 UP This year's Experimental Design Competition 2022 of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) is themed "CO-EXIST WITH CO-AREA", with ideas focusing on the practical use of space. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) proudly supports the competition. This year's entries are open only to residents of Thailand and end on April 19, 2022, at 17:00 (GMT+7).

Lahofer Winery | CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS 20 07 29 UP CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS have completed construction of the Lahofer Winery in the Czech Republic. Nestled in the Moravian countryside, the design of the Lahofer Winery brings together a longstanding wine tradition and contemporary wine-making processes. Housing a visitor center, tasting room and production facilities, the structure immerses itself in the landscape, achieving a subtle symbiosis with the surrounding vines. Emulating archetypal wine cellars of the region, the vault of the winery rests on a grid of arched beams. Acting as a mirror of this shape, an undulant roof serves as an amphitheater for cultural events open to both locals and visitors, merging the winery into the ground – and the culture – on which it rests. ■More information is also available on CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS's website.

【ADF Web Magazine】National Kaohsiung Centre for the Arts 21 03 16 UP The National Kaohsiung Centre for the Arts symbolizes the transformation of Kaohsiung into a modern city with a rich cultural climate. Kaohsiung, located in the southern part of Taiwan, is a port city that is said to be the second largest city in Taiwan. Kaohsiung once prospered as a major international port, but it has developed into a modern and cultural city with high-rise apartments. The site used to be a military base of approximately 100,000 square meters.

The Design Educates Awards Unveil Their List of Winners 22 04 04 UP The Design Educates Awards, which annually recognize the best projects that respond to complex social and environmental contexts and have educational value, have just announced the results of the 2022 edition. Winners were selected in four categories (architectural design, product design, universal design and responsive design). The NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) will also support the Design Educate Award starting this year.

BODW 2020 : Beyond virtual. LIVE global 20 11 09 UP In times of change and ambiguity, this year’s BODW is curated on the theme VISION 20/21 and is about finding clarity in uncertainty. ADF joins the Fuorisalone Digital 20 06 16 UP ADF has joined the new digital platform "Fuorisalone Digital", released by Fuorisalone.it. The Milano Salone (Salone Internazionale del Mobile) canceled its 2020 edition, but the "Furio Salone" official site holds the "Fuorisalone Digital" from 15 to 21 June 2020. ADF exhibits the "ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2020" winning piece, "CYLINDER x MATERIAL" designed by Rie Aruga, which was scheduled to be showcased at the "Fuori Salone" during the Milano Design Week.

MIID REKA Awards 2019 Call For Entries! 19 06 21 UP NPO ADF proudly supports "The MIID REKA Awards for Industry Excellence 2019", which was established by The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) to celebrate outstanding interior design ideas. MIID is the national institute representing the interior design profession in Malaysia. The MIID REKA Awards 2019 is continuing this year in search of design excellence. This is to recognize talented designers, interior designers, and architects that have created value to living and commercial spaces. Best Graduates Award 2018 of the Polytechnic University of Milan! 19 02 12 UP ADF(NPO Aoyama Design Forum) participated as one of the supporters in the Premio Neolaureati 2018 Awards ceremony of the Polytechnic University of Milan(Politecnico di Milano), which has produced prominent architects and designers. This award provides opprtunity for letting newly graduat to getting into real filed problems and also allows their outstanding thesis open to the public.
