World Architecture Community Awards 41st Cycle Winners Are Announced

World Architecture Community has announced the winners of WA Awards 10+5+X 41st Cycle in Architecture and Interior Design sections. WA Awards presents 43 different winning projects from 18 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types, spanning from China to Mexico, Spain to Austria. “Dezeen Awarads 2022” Longlist Revealed

Dezeen has announced the longlist projects in the architecture, interiors and design category. The longlist for Sustainability and media longlist have also announced, followed by the announcement of the Studio longlist to complete the overall longlist. The projects on the longlist were selected from more than 5,400 entries from 90 countries for the fifth edition of the award - a record-breaking number of entries honouring the world's best architecture, interiors and design, as well as the most outstanding work by studios and individuals. ADF, Milan Architects Association, GARDE organize joint exhibition during the Milano Design Week

Lahofer Winery | CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS

CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS have completed construction of the Lahofer Winery in the Czech Republic.

Nestled in the Moravian countryside, the design of the Lahofer Winery brings together a longstanding wine tradition and contemporary wine-making processes. Housing a visitor center, tasting room and production facilities, the structure immerses itself in the landscape, achieving a subtle symbiosis with the surrounding vines.

Emulating archetypal wine cellars of the region, the vault of the winery rests on a grid of arched beams. Acting as a mirror of this shape, an undulant roof serves as an amphitheater for cultural events open to both locals and visitors, merging the winery into the ground – and the culture – on which it rests.

The National Kaohsiung Centre for the Arts symbolizes the transformation of Kaohsiung into a modern city with a rich cultural climate. Kaohsiung, located in the southern part of Taiwan, is a port city that is said to be the second largest city in Taiwan. Kaohsiung once prospered as a major international port, but it has developed into a modern and cultural city with high-rise apartments. The site used to be a military base of approximately 100,000 square meters.

The Design Educates Awards Unveil Their List of Winners
