On the occasion of its twenty-fifty anniversary, Ève De Garie-Lamanque, Artistic Director, invited designers to imagine the future of the garden. A total of 216 projects were submitted by designers from 30 countries.

【ADF Web Magazine】“See Sea Park” by Morishita Architects and Research Institute to Promote Regional RevitalizationOsamu Morishita Architect and Associates unveiled See Sea Park, a project selected in a competition held by Ohi-town in the Fukui prefecture, Japan, at the end of Summer 2019 completed in 2022. This project won WAF 2023 (Best Use of Natural Light). The main requirement for the proposal was to develop a location where people can innovate and develop new businesses.

Welcome in the pantry!, a project located in the municipality of Terlizzi, in Puglia, Italy, and adjacent to the convent home of the Franciscan Fraternity of Bethany. The AIDi (Italian acronym for "Accogliena In Dispensa", translated "welcome in the pantry") building opens towards the city, becoming an element of union and mediation between convent life and that of the city street.

Located on Severiano Ballesteros Street in Santander, Spain, the restaurant was conceived as part of an architectural complex that also includes an Oceanographic Center designed by Vicente Roig Forner and Ángel Hernández Morales, built between 1975 and 1978.

Two Paper Houses by LUO studioFollowing Cardboard-formed Exhibition Space 1.0 (the setting for "Back to the Future: Breaking the Time Barrier" exhibition at the Power Station of Art, 2021) and the Cardboard-formed Exhibition Space 2.0 (the exhibition space for Xinyang Book Market: Books 'N Tea, 2023), curator Zuo Jing again worked with LUO studio to continue exploration into the sustainable design practices of constructing exhibition space with corrugated cardboards. This project is the version 3.0 of cardboard-formed exhibition space, which comprises two unique “paper houses” designed for the exhibition debut at the Båt Odes to the Land in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone.

For this second edition, the architecture and design firm Dupont Blouin - which had signed Fraîchement Bon Villeray - remains at the helm and refines its expertise in food store design, wishing to reinvent the grocery store experience.

【ADF Web Magazine】De Zwarte Hond and Loer Architecten Unveil Mercado in GroningenWith the completion of Mercado and the redevelopment of Rode Weeshuisstraat, Groningen city centre’s north side gets a new boost. The building, together with the new Stalplein next to it, embodies an urban transformation geared towards pedestrians and encounters. The design of Mercado and the urban plan for Rode Weeshuisstraat were created by the architectural collaboration of De Zwarte Hond and Loer Architecten on behalf of developers MWPO and Beauvast. Mercado features a monumental plinth with 41 sustainable apartments above it, built by Plegt-Vos.
