The 19th edition of the Festival des Architectures Vives (FAV) started accepting applications for 10 projects. The FAV will take place in the heart of the city of Montpellier, in the Ecusson district and, more specifically, in the inner courtyards of certain private mansions, offering visitors a journey of architectural discovery. The aim of FAV Montpellier is, on the one hand, to open up these emblematic sites to visitors for the duration of the festival and, on the other, to reveal an intimate relationship between contemporary architecture, an installation, and a heritage site, thanks to the intervention of teams of architects who will present a work specific to each site.

Stellar Isle by SpActrum

Stellar Isle, covering approximately 1,200 square metres, stands as the most significant new cultural and leisure building in Shaoxing Chaichanglong. This area represents the first organic renewal zone in the old town of Shaoxing, situated opposite the former residence of the female revolutionist Qiu Jin and overlooking Pagoda Hill to the north. The total area spans 23,500 square metres. After a five-year renovation, historical buildings from various eras have been preserved, and new buildings and skywalks have been constructed, transforming it into a historical block featuring structures from different periods.
